History of Ludwig's Van

Ludwig’s Van is: Dean Giles, Jeff Solberg, Ron Averill, and Kurt Shubert. They are a group of professionals whose lives have included careers, family and an interest in music.

In 2004, three of the future LV members drew upon previous band experience to form a 50’s rock and roll band for a church fundraiser event. Later in the year the lineup was rounded out, and Ludwig’s Van was born (kicking and screaming).

The music selection has evolved to more modern versions of older songs, along with a mix of original tunes, but the band's sound has remained rooted in traditional blues rock and roll.

Ludwig’s Van is based in Snohomish County, and the band members all have day jobs in the area and are well established in the community.
